The project is intended to serve the needs of associations, cultural workers, the music school and the municipality of Arlesheim through its multifunctional use and flexibility of design options.
The light-flooded, open and transparent building structure should promote the superstructure of the community hall as a central and cultural meeting place. The building structure fits in well with the adjoining building (Building Area B) and the many
green and open spaces are skillfully embedded in the surroundings.
Thus, the community hall is to be understood as a versatile modern cultural place, but also as an oasis of calm and a meeting place for the whole village.
The project is characterized by a V-shaped building: on the one hand with the transparent community hall building along the Hirslandweg and on the other hand with an open and green stilted building along the Stollenrain for the
for the use of the mantle with apartments and service businesses.
