The world supply of potable water is limited and raw materials are becoming scarce. It is our duty to use them economically and this requires durable solutions that respect the environment. Intersan began manufacturing water and energy saving plumbing fixtures more than 70 years ago. Intersan's hand washing systems are durable, fonctional and easy to install. In high traffic washrooms, they offer accessible comfort and hygiene to all visitors including the disabled. Intersan's R&D department is continuously looking for solutions to existing problems, such as changing anthropometric data, ergonomic problems, ease of use for disabled persons, water and energy savings etc. All our developments and our products meet the strict European and American standards. Savings Intersan fixtures are space saving and are more resistant to vandalism than china lavatories. Their superior design minimizes the amount of parts required resulting in a more cost effective unit. To minimize the installation cost, only one drain and one set of supplies are required per unit. Energy consumption is low: the flow rate of a nozzle is only 1,9 L/min. and requires only 1 liter of hot water (60 %). Safe and hygienical hands free operation The automatic delivery of water and soap prevents the user from having to come into contact with the fixture and its environment. The spread of germs and bacteria by hands is thus excluded. The easy control system invites users in factories, schools, laboratories, offices, hospitals, nursing homes, food processing industries and restaurants to frequently wash their hands, which is important for promoting hygiene! Optimal comfort through easy control Intersan designs its fixtures for easy operation by all users including adults, children and the disabled. The passive detection system functions within a three-dimensional sensitivity field within the bowl area. Soap and water will be delivered automatically upon the presentation of the user's hands beneath a nozzle. 100 % recyclable Intersan uses materials that can be fully recycled such as steel, stainless steel, copper, Solid Surface and ecological carton packing materials in order to minimize environmental impact.
