In 1934 a factory is founded that will become famous as Leolux. Over the years, Leolux becomes a household name and a serious player in the modern furniture market.
The Dutch familiy business develops a portfolio with - alongside Leolux - strong brands such as Pode (lifestyle) and Leolux LX (contract), each with its own position in the market. Leolux is investing in sustainable materials and production methods, in contemporary communication and innovative, headstrong contemporary products. To give the various brands their own identity, Leolux is working with freelance art directors who supervise design, photography, trade fair presentations and product development. From 2020, Studio Truly Truly (Kate & Joel Booy) is responsible for the art direction of the Leolux brand.
