Tailored House

The site is located in a residential area, slightly off the main road. A young couple purchased this property after having previewed of several other properties based on the premise that they would renovate the purchased house. Although there were several traces of previous obscure renovations, we could decipher that the building was about 50 years old from the year of manufacture of the moldboard glass. Norihito Yamauchi Norihito Yamauchi The first floor consisted of two adjoining washitsus(Japanese-styled tatami room) and another porched washitsu. The second floor consisted of two washitsus divided by a sunroom across a corridor. Norihito Yamauchi Norihito Yamauchi We were asked to design the basic plan of the buildi... Más

Loft aguacate

The first request, from this young couple of professionals without children, was a conventional 2-bedroom house, without major pretensions. However, that possibility did not at all represent the couple's free and progressive, if slightly antisocial, spirit.  Rubén Calderón Rubén Calderón Rubén Calderón Rubén Calderón Rubén Calderón Rubén Calderón Rubén Calderón Our proposal then consisted of a loft, conceived as a space closed to the outside, whose geometry would become an urban sculpture, and towards the interior, a fluid space without physical barriers, which would provide versatility of flexible uses.... Hanoi Eco School / Odile Vandermeeren, Van Aelst I Nguyen & Partners, NDC , Boydens , Ney.

The design concept behind the materialization of this building is rooted in the traditional Vietnamese house pitch roof constructed from clay. The traditional approach has been seamlessly integrated into the contemporary design, where vertical walls have been carefully angled to reflect the traditional roof geometry and realized through horizontal clay slats. Incorporating small bamboo plantings in the front facade provides a natural shading solution, reducing the building's heat load and energy consumption. HanMinhHang House

The owner, founder of a well-known fashion brand—sought to revamp both the functionality and lighting of their long-standing home. Tucked away in a narrow alley in Hanoi, the property boasts a spacious plot compared to neighboring houses. The original structure was well-positioned, leaving a south-facing front yard that invites natural breezes. CHAMBER 28

A PHENOMENA ODYSSEY ---- STUDIO8 has designed all-day entertainment venue in Beijing Sven Zhang Sven Zhang Every time we encounter spaces, we always leave with a first impression in our minds. One of the things that are often communicated with us is the temperature of the space. It is not the actual room temperature, but rather the feeling and atmosphere that engaged our senses in various ways. Consequently, temperature is one of the key features influencing our experience of spatial design.  Sven Zhang Sven Zhang The request for CHAMBER28 was straightforward – a new, one of a kind all-day entertainment venue in Beiji...
