House of Reflection

An old and outdated 1980s house in the heart of Notting Hill, London, was converted into a stunning new build to create a unique space for the client to call home. Working closely with Amron Architectural, Banker’s representative in the UK, the Banker Wire IPZ-62 brass wire mesh was manufactured to be installed in bespoke frames. The architects at Amron requested an unfinished brass material for the external woven mesh panels. Open Concept Staircase

A compartmentalized 1960s home was overdue for an update, and the team from Model Remodel got to designing the flow of the kitchen and main floor. The homeowners received a modernized kitchen, additional storage, and a repositioned basement stairway that is now a beautiful architectural feature. During discussions about traffic flow, it was determined that moving the stairs to the basement was a goal. This repositioning would make for easier access to the basement from anywhere on the first floor and make the living space feel bigger. The Banker Wire P-286 pattern in a bare brass material was paired with the custom walnut stairway for continuity. The stairway is now both an architectural feature and a custom shelving unit. Beirut Café

Within the historic and newly renovated Östermalms Saluhall marketplace in Stockholm, the new restaurant Beirut Café includes specially manufactured metal mesh for its vibrant interior. Banker Wire M22-83 in braided solid brass enhances the look by being used in dividing screens, shelving and counters and in ceiling tiles and panels. The Banker Wire TXZ-3 is an antique copper-plated metal mesh designed like towers to enhance the atmosphere around the room. NH Collective Copenhagen

In a truly eye-catching design, Banker Wire’s Architectural Wire Mesh pattern S-50 commands attention as a brass wire mesh ceiling tile installation inside the lobby of NH Collection Copenhagen. The waterfront hotel in København, Denmark, resides in a building built as shipyard headquarters in the 1950s. In renovating the new five-star hotel, Arkitema Architects stayed true to the building’s historical environment.
