SFAP   The 7th-floor washroom of Deji Phase I is designed with a study room scenario, distilling the rhythm of calligraphy strokes—introduction, development, shift, and integration—into the spatial cadence. Through the fluidity of architectural structures and lines, it creates an immersive experience akin to wandering through pages of inked manuscripts. Villa Lava is a private residence located in Santa Tecla, in the province of Acireale, on the eastern coast of Sicily. The project is a unique architectural blend - the union of two houses in one big Villa. On one side is an old fisherman's house dating from around 1900, which has been completely restored by Nábito Architects, maintaining its essential character and carefully uncovering and preserving the original lava stone vaults. On the other side, the old restored house is connected to a modern extension that opens to the sea, designed to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape of coastal lava stone, local vegetation and the ever-present Mediterranean horizon bringing the sea inside the complex. The goal of this project was to create a prototype for the transformation of a urban house into a small apartments building. This typological change typically stands for the transformation of cities today. The Al Mare Complex is a unique residential complex with a total area of 8,000 square meters, strategically located at the port of Corfu. It consists of two buildings, each four stories high, with a total of thirty-two apartments. On each floor, there are eight apartments, ranging from 70 to 150 square meters. On the ground floor of the buildings, there are both apartments and shops, while the two-level underground section includes parking with a total of one hundred parking spaces and additional storage areas. PROJECT DESCRIPTION :  The house showcases a modern three-story residence exemplifying contemporary architectural design through its clean lines, geometric volumes, and a balanced interplay of materials. The facade skillfully combines textured tile cladding, smooth plaster, and contrasting color blocks in neutral shades of gray, black, and earthy rust, adding visual depth and dynamism. Expansive glass panels framed in black metal offer ample natural light and blur the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. The residence sits in a working vineyard, elevated to view the full expanse of the fields. The compound consists of a guest house with bedrooms on a lower level, a screen porch, and future main house surrounding a raised pool terrace. An infinity edge spa and pool reflecting the fields and sky beyond is viewed from the interior living space. The exteriors are inspired by utilitarian farming materials, including rusted corten siding, wood planks, and galvanized tie rod "X" bracing.
