Julliard School New York

In late 2020, the Tianjin Julliard School opened to students. Located in the City of Tianjin, which is 45 minutes from Beijing by high-speed train, the 350,000 square foot school is a centre for performance, practice, research and interactive exhibitions with communal spaces designed to welcome the public into the creative process and performance of music. Diller Scofidio + Renfro also designed the 2009 expansion of Julliard’s iconic New York home, which was informative to this latest project.
