Designed by MDF Italia founder Bruno Fattorini, Minima is one of the brand’s
iconic bestsellers, honourable mention of the XVIII edition of the
Compasso d’Oro by ADI in 1998. Characterised by the minimalist design
of the frame made entirely of 100% recyclable aluminium, this year, the
system is enhanced by new storage units featuring innovative opening
mechanisms that allow the door to reach a length of 120 cm.
Concerning finishes, the fronts of the storage units are available in two new
materials. A version with back-painted glass doors in in matching colours
with the bookcase structure: white, graphite grey, shadow grey, nickel pearl,
and a variant with a special finish presented in partnership with Cimento®:
the Veneto-based company has patented a cementitious compound
that gives the surfaces of the storage units a solid, textured appearance
in contrast with the metal uprights and shelves, further emphasising the
counterpoint between solids and voids.
