The interior design concept for the two-story apartment in the newly designed tower at 262 5th Avenue in New York City is a visionary submission for a competitive realization contest. The investor invited three firms from around the world to choose one to execute interior designs throughout the building. This concept embodies a modern, elegant, refined, and industrial aesthetic. It features distinct materials such as raw concrete, natural stone with exceptional texture, structural decorative glass, complemented by smooth gray walls and ceilings, and black furniture. Throughout the design, there are references to typical American sporting accents, including autographed sports memorabilia, reflecting the American cultural affinity for sports. Additionally, there is a nod to street fashion, capturing the essence of urban style. A key focus of the project was to open up the interior to the extraordinary cityscape panorama. This is exemplified by unique design elements such as a freestanding bathtub in the main bedroom window and stone seating in all other apartment windows, allowing residents to fully appreciate the breathtaking views of the city. The design for this two-story apartment in the new tower at 262 5th Avenue in New York City combines modernity, sophistication, and a touch of American culture, creating a truly exceptional living space that harmonizes with the stunning urban surroundings.
