Millerighe

"Millerighe" aims to be a symbol of the integration of energy innovation and architectural attention. Located along one of the city's main arteries, the Via Emilia, the project aspires to rebalance the existing proportions and materials, creating a balanced yet dynamic composition. The building presents itself with a facade already articulated into three horizontal bands - base, central body, and crowning - becoming the starting point for the new architectural concept.

Through the use of different insulation thicknesses and various material textures, the facades take shape according to key principles: elegance and rhythm, light and dark, lights and shadows, rough and refined. In particular, the crowning is characterized by a dark metal element that connects to the soffit, emphasizing the verticality and introducing an elegant play of shadows that varies with the daylight. The central band, covered with three-dimensional triangular-section ceramics, also gives depth and dynamism.

From an energy perspective, the following interventions have been planned: the installation of an external thermal insulation composite system, the insulation and waterproofing of the roof with the integration of a photovoltaic system, the installation of a latest-generation condensing boiler, and the insertion of new aluminum window frames with fabric shading. These interventions not only enhance the urban context, increasing its aesthetic value, but also improve the quality of life, reducing energy consumption and lowering CO2 emissions.
