House of Grey, one of the world’s leading interior designers in the progressive practice of circular salutogenic design – beautifully articulated low eco-impact environments, styling and products with deep benefits to human health – has created The Method’s first fitness studio & and the third edition of its café, Nathalie in Notting Hill, London.

Expanding House of Grey’s renowned repertoire of ethical-meets a quiet understated luxury residential, hospitality and retail store environments, the project signals an unprecedented new approach to experiencing wellness for 2025 that combines design for dynamic physical fitness with an appetite for overall health & wellbeing.

Conceived to break through the traditionally masculine aesthetic and the physical-only functionality typical to predominant gym culture – presenting a new self-care standard for both men and women – it symbiotically combines bespoke design treatments (including an ultra-flexible lighting system adaptable to personal mood, community vibe and energy-intensity); a unique layout to maximise energetic flow; bespoke furniture pieces; and innovative health-harmonising eco-materials.

It also blends The Method’s ethos of joyful movement powered by positivity, a 360 degree approach to feeling your best self,– conceived to restore, uplift the body and mind – with a community-centering blend of space.

Led by London-based House of Grey founder Louisa Grey, feted for her pioneering work in creating aspirational design with a long-lasting positive legacy, the design represents a groundbreaking project in the field of intelligent health. Planet-positive and health-enriching while uplifting and quietly luxurious, the subtle immersion into circular interior design (many of the benefits are
initially imperceptible) centres on proactively increasing natural resilience and upgrading innate health for optimal living, for every individual.
