Morgan Street Revitalization
Mount Morgan is a small town located 40km south-west of Rockhampton in Central Queensland. The town has a little-known but rich history of gold and copper mining, and in 2014 the local council started a master-planning process to revitalise the main streetscape.

The existing context became very important in the concept for the new streetscape. Morgan Street contained a 10-metre-wide park down the middle of the main street, flanked by two one-way roads. Shops and small businesses occupied the northern side of the street, and a local primary school the south. LAAB Collective + Signature Design Communication propose a tactile streetscape in Montreal
Based in Montreal, Canada, Agora Maximus celebrates tactile urbanism through a modular streetscape installation designed by the Canadian creative studio LAAB Collective and a multidisciplinary agency, Signature Design Communication (SDC).

The project commemorates the temporary pedestrianization of Montreal’s Saint-Denis’s Street with viewing decks and vantage points placed along its length, allowing people to enjoy the urban landscape and its diverse cultural attractions. The concept strives to playfully depict the essence of the fabled street with its distinctive Latin character.

Camille Walala transforms East London street into vibrant public artwork
In a transformation of an entire East London Street, renowned artist Camille Walala has teamed up with art collective Wood Street Walls to introduce one of London’s largest-scale public art projects to the streets of East London.

Community funded, the work entitled ‘Walala Parade’ adds colour as well as as a spirit of joy and creativity to an otherwise dull and pedestrian East London high street. In addition, the project aims to be fully accessible and engaging to the public it serves. In fact, Londoners shaped the final design by voting for their favourite scheme online before it was painted.
