The Aircon 10 S is essentially an advanced state of the art wind turbine with the following features:
•Variable rotor speed through new power electronics giving the best possible degree of effectiveness, even in the partial load range. •Improved profitability compared to the prior art •Optimized rotor blades with extremely low noise emission •Newly developed permanent magnet synchronous generator with slotless disk armature for minimal ripple of moments and very high electrical efficiency (see description SPARK) •Active yaw control with actuator giving very stable operation for perfect stamina and a long life.
Perfect stamina
The Aircon 10 S is offered with a special designed three-part, 12/18/24/30 m high, galvanized latticed mast, with static load computations for mast and foundation. One version of the 18 m tower is foldable and can be erected without a crane for inaccessible sites.
Better safe than sorry
The Aircon 10 S has all the necessary electrical and mechanical safety devices, in accordance with IEC regulations, to hold and/or stop the turbine safely in all operating and emergency situations. Both the generator and inverters are equipped with sensors for temperature monitoring. The overall turbine system is controlled by a process computer with multiple input / outputs. The rotor speed, wind speed and direction, power output, vibration, the nacelle position and power cable twist revolutions (no slip rings) are constantly monitored and controlled.
