Nova Fruitbowl (Red dot design award winner)

The NOVA fruitbowl was made for the first time in mexico city in the small shops mauricio had in his. First years as a designer,the fruitbowl was made in mahogany,that first bowl was used as a mold to do the aluminum casting mold, then used for the rotomolding first pieces,mauricio send one in white to the RED DOT DESIGN AWARD then won it in the year 2008/2009 in essen, germany for product design,after the red dot the succes came in the following years,it was published at DESIGNBOOM UK/MILAN then was selected to participate at DWELLONDESIGN 09 in LA for the show KITCHEN ECOLOGY a recipe for good design,was exhibited at the MUAC in mexico city and also at the GERMAN DESIGN CENTER in mexico city,the was chosen at CREANDO HOGAR de el palacio de hierro also in mexico city. 2010 in 2011 was selected to be exhibited at II BIENAL IBEROAMERICA in madrid,the was exhibited in AMBIENTE design fair in frankfurt in germany,where it was nominated for the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2012 and was shown at the last IMM furnishing show in cologne,germany. It has been produced in poliethelene,in wood,and now in resin. A good design never goes out of fashion.
