Sahtas roof tiles offer individuality in appearance that recreates the look of yesteryear. Its timeless character and enduring quality mean the Sahtas roof tiles are an ideal solution for new build, renovation & restoration projects.

Sahtas are able to offer advice on choice of tile & colour, we can also able to provide technical information that you or your Architect may require. Our roof tiles are created & produced to impart an appearance of an old traditional clay roof tile, so Sahtas Clay Tiles look equally established on a listed building restoration, or on a new building project. Also unlike reclaimed roof tiles, it is available in any quantity with a range of complimentary fittings of your choice.

In these days of “One size fits all” it’s testament to Sahtas forethought and commitment to being independent, that we are still able to offer a distinctive tile in a range of colours that cannot be replicated by machine. Owing to our tiles still being produced by hand, we are able to offer roof tiles with distinctive shades and slight variations of size, camber and texture giving the unique appearance so sought after, in these days of mass production.

Sahtas roof tiles are produced in Turkey, using skills and firing techniques essential to the character of our tiles. Our Factory combines both traditional and, an up to date production facility, which incorporate a modern drying and temperature control system, both are vital for producing a quality roof tile that is suitable for use even in the worst of the UK weather.

Throughout production Sahtas clay roof tiles are vigorously tested for robustness and performance in our own testing unit. This facility was supplied and installed by CERAM Technicians and is run under their guardianship. Ceram is an Independent Testing and Research facility specialising in construction materials & Ceramics and their measurements are approved and accepted by UKAS, The British Standards Institute as well as being accepted internationally. In addition, Sahtas UK Ltd will periodically randomly take tiles from our yard stocks in the UK and send them to Ceram for independent testing and Certification. Sahtas clay tiles are produced to endure the very worst that the British weather can throw at them. In fact we are so confident of their performance we guarantee them for 30 years.
