In 2019, we were commissioned to create a series of sculptural benches for Sahara Mall in Riyadh, transforming public seating into an artistic and functional experience. The project brought together parametric design, advanced digital fabrication, and meticulous craftsmanship, resulting in a collection of 16 benches and 6 Rain Gatherer tables. A small private house is located in a picturesque place about 30 km from Riga. The land plot is on the boarder of the forest and is located near the Gulf of Riga.A separate position of the buildings (house and garage) on the site is due to the fact that they were erected on the previously existing foundations. The buildings are connected by a terrace.The house is functionally divided into two parts: the main and guest areas. Connection between the zones is carried out through an indoor passage in the building, which visually connects the courtyard with the forest.For external finishing and the terrace, Latvian granary board impregnated with a hydrophobic compound was used. Apartment is situated in the center of Saint Petersburg on the top floor of the old revenue house built in the beginning of the 19th century. The house was built in eclectic style and was rebuilt by several architects over the years.The main objective was to create a functional space for temporary short term stay of 4-5 people. As a result, a comfortable apartment (like a hotel suite) was designed.
