The St. Regis San Francisco's signature fine dining restaurant, Astra, offers guests a luxury experience. Astra embodies extraordinary hospitality with modern-day sophistication and represents the epitome of northern California luxury expressed through local and cultural references. Demitasse is another project where Liqui was responsible for both the restaurant interior design and the build, while our creative agency Crate47 took care of the branding. Working hand in hand like this means that clients receive a fully integrated service that results in the brand and interior working in unison to create a truly harmonious brand experience. Before Liqui started the Verdi Italian restaurant interior design, our branding company Crate47 had to create the brand, part of which included finding the right name. This process was done in consultation with ourselves so that the restaurant interior and the branding would work in unison. Both had to reflect the modern approach to traditional Italian cuisine that our client wanted to promote. With their emphasis on fresh, quality produce, Verdi (meaning ‘greens’) became the chosen name. Liqui’s seafood restaurant design for Pier 29 was created hand-in-hand with our branding agency Crate47 who created a brand that fits with the nautical theme of our contemporary interior. This was in-line with the all-encompassing brief for this new hospitality venture, and together we developed a subtly branded restaurant interior design that offers a relaxed dining experience for those who enjoy good quality seafood. With the maritime theme in mind, the interior design of the restaurant combines such elements as navy blue walls and exposed timber. Located in Hove, Wolfies Kitchen, was designed by Liqui to be a distinctive restaurant interior design that reflects the great quality of food they offer. Every aspect of this restaurant design was pushed to be the very best. The unique metallized copper bar, the handcrafted lighting features, together with the tables and chairs were all created specifically for this interior – making it a truly bespoke interior design for diners to enjoy. This relaxing and informal beach front restaurant design was conceived as a franchise model. And, once again, Liqui and Crate47’s dual involvement in this project has worked seamlessly to create a considered designer restaurant with a strong but friendly brand identity. The interior design makes full use of reclaimed materials producing a warm, relaxed environment. Utilitarian style lighting combined with dark and weathered woods creates an industrial beach shack aesthetic which is further reinforced by the use of surfboards and stylized imagery carefully placed throughout the interior. Located in the heart of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, The Organic Kitchen was conceived by Liqui to be a restaurant interior design with an airy and natural feel where diners could relax and enjoy the organic food on offer. Liqui created an eye-catching interior design where the main feature is a ridged structure running through the length of the restaurant.
