We have calculated the embedded carbon footprint of one of the four residential buildings. The plinth (not a residential function) and foundation have not been included in this calculation. The calculation concerns a building with 56 homes with an average size of 67 m2. The residential building has an MPG of € 0.568 MKI / m2 GFA / year. The material-related CO2 emissions amount to 272 kg CO2 eq / m2 GFA. The CO2 storage is 224 kg CO2 eq / m2 GFA. The end result is then a material-related CO2 emission of 48 kg CO2 eq / m2 GFA.
