Sustainability Report

GROUP A and it's thinktank Carbonlab link the material quantities (BIM-models) to Dutch and if necessary European data via accredited software such as Bimpact, Madaster and OneClick LCA. Per project the most suitable software is applied. 

All building components are included, since we aim to visualise the total footprint of the total built volume, not an administrative number that does not reflect the facts on the ground. So the numbers include Structure&foundation, facade, installations (inclusing PV), inner walls and all finishes. Since we have no controle over it we exclude loose furniture.  

Note: We elaborated two different construction methods. One focussing on thermal mass with rammed earth floors loamstone and chalkhemp called 'Built to last' (the numbers above). And one focussing on wood construction and biobased facade package called 'Footloose'. The last construction method results in 131 kg CO2 eq/m2 carbon emissions from the production of materials used and 221 kg CO2 eq/m2  carbon captured in the materials used.
