Embodied carbon

7.323
kg CO₂-eq./m²

The software used is Lesosai, all the new construction has been included, the existing basement has been excluded

Project ERS : 2945 m2 / calculated over 60 years

7.323*2945*60= 1'294 tonnes of CO2 eq.

Carbon captured in the materials used : This is not calculated in Minergie certification

According to the Minergie - ECO guidelines, these percentages and themes have been met :

- Exclusion criteria          100% of requirements met / 10 out of 10 answers completed

- Daylight                           54% of requirements met

- Noise protection           54% of requirements met / 14 responses out of 14 completed

- Indoor climate               65 % of prescriptions met / 18 responses out of 18 completed

- Building concept          72% of prescriptions filled / 18 responses out of 18 carried out

- Building materials and processes         81% of prescriptions filled / 16 responses out of 16 completed

- Grey energy of building materials         50% of prescriptions filled

The criterion of using materials with ECOBAU certification or with certain characteristics was met at 81%.

For example: use of recycled concrete for certain parts of the structure, use of insulation that is not harmful to the environment, no biocides, no halogens, no PVC that is harmful to the environment.

All this was documented throughout the construction process and submitted to the Minergie agency in the form of technical data sheets, installation photos, etc.

The grey energy of the materials was also calculated.

Operational Emissions / Energy

This has not been calculated, and will depend on the CAD (district heating) to which the building will be connected in the near future

Service and maintenance emissions

This has not been calculated

Afterlife

According to Minergie Eco criteria, the first level of the flexibility criterion has been met, i.e. within the use zones, it is possible to considerably modify the size of the rooms without adapting the load-bearing structure for a change of use.

Due to the type of timber structure used for the building, everything seems to be easily dismantled, with the exception of the concrete parts. This applies to windows, vertical and horizontal timber structures, facade cladding, metal railings, etc.
