Embodied carbon

Efficient

Energy and climate control systems

-25 cm thick radiant slab system installed across 7,100 m² of the Nave

-46 km of embedded tubing circulates water at 50 °C (winter) and 15 °C (summer)

-Maintains thermal comfort within 1.5–2 m height zone

-Structural reinforcement: 70 kg/m² steel, supporting 44-ton trucks (2 t/m² load capacity)

-Sensors embedded at 5 cm depth control temperature and humidity

-Connected to CPCU (district heating) and Fraîcheur de Paris (district cooling)

-Interior temperatures maintained at 10–15 °C in winter with 5 °C exterior

-Glazed roof upgraded with thermal films and 18 mechanical ventilation panels

Water and environmental resource management

-Two 40 m³ rainwater tanks installed for irrigation and drought resilience

-Rainwater reused for cleaning infrastructure and non-potable needs

-Landscaping reduces urban heat island effect and supports biodiversity

Sustainable materials and construction

-Interior fit-out uses natural, recyclable, and reversible materials

-Energy use controlled through centralized technical management systems

-Efficiency improvements supported by energy performance contracts and CEE certificates

Green construction and social inclusion

-Green site management includes limits on waste, noise, pollution, and energy/water use

-191,186 hours of social inclusion employment integrated into construction contracts
