Afterlife
The corner shelving system is conceived as a flexible, modular structure that is not tied to a single program or space. Its dimensions, fixing logic, and neutral geometry allow it to be reinstalled in different contexts—such as a living room bookcase, a workspace storage unit, or a display system—without redesign. By avoiding permanent finishes and using repeatable components, the system can evolve with changing needs, supporting multiple “afterlives” while minimizing material waste.
Yes. The corner shelving system is composed of separate, wall-mounted elements fixed with mechanical connections, allowing it to be easily dismantled without damage. Each component (shelves, supports, fixings) can be removed, repaired, reconfigured, or reused in another location, supporting circular economy principles. The use of standard melamine boards and dry fixings enables material recovery, reuse, or recycling at the end of its life.
