All plywood used in the project is reclaimed material and forms part of the 80% overall reuse strategy, thereby avoiding the embodied carbon associated with new plywood production. If new plywood had been used, the embodied carbon would be approximately 6.3 kg CO₂e per m² (based on a 15 mm thickness). By reusing plywood instead, the embodied carbon associated with this material is considered negligible, resulting in an avoided impact of approximately 6.3 kg CO₂e per m², and positioning reuse as a key low-carbon strategy within the project.
