Adaptive reuse wasn't explicitly addressed in the project documentation. The design's residential typology — with generous balconies, operable facades, and flexible communal spaces — lends itself to longevity, but a formal strategy for the building serving a different program in its afterlife wasn't developed. The modular logic of the apartment layouts offers some inherent flexibility, though this would benefit from more deliberate documentation in future.

The use of recycled aluminium for window frames and glazing suggests some consideration of material recovery, and the selection of low-VOC, hazardous-material-compliant products throughout points to a responsible approach to the building fabric. That said, a formal design-for-disassembly strategy isn't documented here. The building's systems — smart meters, efficient mechanical equipment, and solar panels — are largely modular by nature, which creates practical opportunities for replacement and upgrade without significant structural disruption.
