Heat is supplied by a natural-gas-fired combined heat and power (CHP) unit with peak-load boilers and buffer storage tanks. Domestic hot water is prepared decentrally in apartment-level substations. The ventilation systems are equipped with heat recovery. Photovoltaic (PV) systems are installed on the roofs.
