Sustainable design principles

The sustainable and nature-inspired office for Cybernet draws inspiration from biophilic design and the WELL Building Standard, embodied in the BIO-WELL-NESS concept to enhance employee well-being.

The WELL Building Standard

The WELL Building Standard is followed in the design. that emphasizes seven performance concepts: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Fitness, Comfort, and Mind, guiding strategies for enhancing worker wellness. The office layout maximizes natural lighting and views while offering ergonomically diverse work settings, including adjustable tables, chairs, and relaxing areas to foster comfort and movement.

Biophilic design

Biophilic design enhances our connection to nature, evident in Cybernet's office through the integration of natural materials and elements. The Cyber-garden features nature-shaped furniture and seasonal colors reminiscent of a Japanese rock garden, with forest-like zones enriching the atmosphere, promoting overall wellness.

Afterlife

Design strategies

As a design philosophy, Minimalism underpins the entire project and aligns with Cybernet’s directive to declutter and streamline the office. The design reduces material usage and creates a clean, efficient space by eliminating unnecessary items and optimizing storage solutions.

Minimalism

Following Cybernet's management directions, space has been decluttered as much as possible, reducing unnecessary items.

Quality

For high quality, the products selected in this project will last longer than the average, consequently reducing the need for disposal and replacement.

Modularity

Most of the products are modular (furniture, partitions, flooring, etc.). If problems occur, the product can be used by only replacing the damaged part. At the end of its lifecycle, furniture can be disassembled, and its components recycled.

Naturality

Most of the materials adopted are natural and renewable, thus easy to recycle—for example, wood, aluminum, iron, ceramic, organic wallpaper, eco-panels, and glass.
