Rockley House

Nestled in the leafy streets of South Yarra, Rockley House is a series of six contemporary residences that effortlessly meld with the architectural character of the classical streetscape.  Each featuring its own double-garage, verdant courtyard and rooftop terrace with lift access, Genton’s design prioritises privacy and generosity of space to deliver luxury dwellings with palatial proportions befitting the prestigious postcode. Caption Caption Curved forms contrast against the disciplined structure on the façade and within the residence, achieving a sculptural aesthetic that balances the desire for order with uniqueness. Set across three levels, bedrooms are sequestered to the upper floors to offer quiet sanctu... More

HOUSE VCH

From the outset, this residence is conceived as a seamless dialogue between architecture and landscape. A refined watter features leads to the entrance, setting a serene tone that extends throughout the house. The foyer, lit by a skylit patio, transitions gently between exterior and interior, introducing the play of light and shadow that defines the home's atmosphere. Nivelarte Nivelarte Nivelarte Nivelarte organized over three levels, the layout distinguishes functions clearly. LIGHT HOUSE

The more than 1,000-square-metre plot on which we designed the "Light House," is located in a well-ordered enclave of single-family houses in the vicinity of Radomierzyce, near Wrocław. The magnificent mature tree stand gives the place a unique character, and the newly built houses shape the architectural quality of the estate, which has a modern character. The developer had a clear objective: to create a modern house that makes use of and blends in with the surrounding wooded landscape. JABRAARCHITECTS JABRAARCHITECTS JABRAARCHITECTS The design of the building is inscribed in the regularly square geometry of the plot. The body of the house is a two-storey layout, and the entrance has been placed centrally in the body of the... More

Hutton Drive 2641

The Site  As hillside design specialists, the Whipple Russell team sometimes finds it necessary to move mountains – or at least part of one, in order to create a spacious yet intimate modern home. To accomplish these goals for our Hutton house, we first cut into the rear hillside to maximize backyard living space and to site the house further from the street in the front. At the back of the property two porcelain stone retaining walls create a balcony lounge area with a fire pit and greenery overlooking the saltwater pool, spa, and the entire property including multiple firepits, and an outdoor kitchen/bar. An Ipe wood walkway bridge leads from this upper seating into the primary suite.  Adam Latham Adam Latham F... More

DUNE HOUSE

The latest house of the Polish architectural studio Mobius Architekci, located near Warsaw, is a residence open to the beauty of nature. Its bowed silhouette, like a harp, extends over the slope and reaches for the farthest perspectives of the winding river. The picturesque view overlooking the vast Narew River, green meadows and surrounding forests from the hill creates a landscape of the place that determined the choice of the plot. A private investor decided here to realize the dream of a spacious and modern house. Paweł Ulatowski The author of the project is Przemek Olczyk from Mobius Architekci, a studio operating in Poland since 2006. The architect inscribed the building in the slope of the area, drawing its line softly along t... More

The Upper house

A Relaxing vibe was the driving thought behind the conceptualization of AA Urban Villas. The building itself was a mix used between a working space and a house. Lower levels are used for the work area where the owner works there. So the idea was to create a different surrounding resort feel like a house on the top floor. It was like coming home to a holiday home, a resort on a high cliff in Uluwatu, Bali. Ernest Theofilus Looking sunset on the pool deck in the afternoon. Makes the owner forget that they were living in the hustle-bustle of city life, after a hectic working hour. The land consists of 800m2. Inspired by resort villas, the building is separated into 2 blocks. Ernest Theofilus The front building consists of a Living,... More

LONG ISLAND GRAND RESIDENCE

The Long Island Residence is an expansive and lush 24,000 square foot French style abode surrounded by Italian garden with sweeping views of the NYC skyline. When Giusi Mastro, Founder and Owner of ORA Studio NYC met the client, the exterior home design and look were already established by the client, who wanted to emulate a French style mansion that he had in his mind and his heart all his life. With the help of a local Architect, he mapped out the proportion, look and orientation of the house. The client knew that he wanted to have a classic exterior with interiors that reflect a modern and contemporary home and sought an Interior Architect with a likeminded sensibility.  Richard Cadan Photography “The client wanted to in... The Hovering House

The urban dwelling was developed with a brief to be comfortable, warm but open to its surroundings, light and constructed with modern engineering techniques and natural materials. The resulting design sees a unique 3500 Square feet residential building standing out boldly in a secluded flat terrain with an inverted sloped roof that hovers up to the skies, open completely to the surrounding lush garden landscape. The design concept takes clues from the traditional architecture of Kerala, giving form to a "new emancipating" style of architecture. The north facing inverted roofs in this design is a modern perception of the traditional downward sloping roof, allowing uninterrupted views of the Sky and the surrounding landscape. The 2-storeyed r... More

Twin Residences

The project refers to a "dual residential complex" located on the northern suburbs of Athens, on the outskirts of Mount Penteli. The positioning of the building volumes, the optimal orientation and the "range of privacy" create a wide spectrum of spaces ranging from "homey" relaxation and introspection areas, to "public" life indoor and outdoor spaces while illustrating the fundamental principles of our architectural design approach.  The lively spaces that are active during the day are integrated with the landscape and pool area while the private spaces are modulated in quiet zones on the upper floors. The advanced technology of the residence plays an important role in the design of the residence as it brings an additional level of c... More

Weekend House

The project of the house in Colares stared with a topographical research in mind, finding the most dramatic cliff between Cascais and Cabo da Roca, for a weekend house, on the west coast of Portugal, at the closest point to the Americas on European land. The site is located in the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais, just between the famous Lighthouse of Cabo da Roca and the nearby Santuário da Peninha, it is part of a territory which is constellated by windmills and local production of wine. The plot itself has first been spotted on Google Maps and has been further investigated for planning permissions to the local authorities, it is located at the very end of the Rua das Piroletas in the one and the only land left unbuilt since the...
