Swan Hotel & Resort By Kalbod Studio

To provide a peaceful environment with all the necessary facilities and standards, Sorkhrud Hotel is located far from the high-rise zone of this city. It will offer a unique experience for travelers. By using formal capabilities and integrating them with the basic requirements of the project, the final design has maximum efficiency. It offers a new approach to hotel design on the shore of the Caspian Sea.

The final form of the hotel, in addition to keeping its dialogue with the city and not cutting off its connection with the sea, acts like a bridge and leads the passengers to the coastline. The hotel is opened slowly on the urban scale and facing it. The volumes rising from the ground provide levels and paths to enter the different parts of the hotel. The placement of public spaces in the urban facade of the building is a double emphasis on maintaining the connection with the city. On the other facade, where the hotel faces the sea, its form is opened towards the water with the smooth rotation of the floors, providing a maximum view for the rooms. In this facade, two piers from the part called “viewpoint” considered as the peak point of giving a view to the environment, move with a gentle slope towards the sea, and it seems that the hotel building is artistically stitched to the land and the sea in a unique composition.
