Bergan Architectural Woodworking was started by Richard T. Bergan in 1976, in his parent’s garage in Middletown, CT. During a trade show in the early 80’s, Rich watched as the established machinery and hardware leaders sat smoking cigars in their empty booths, while attendees crowded the vendors providing solutions for the new European style of cabinetry.
