George and Mary Alice Leasure created Ghent in the dust of an old powder plant. As a small family business the only way to enter the playing field was to follow the footsteps of the bigger competitors.
Over the years, as our family and business grew larger, as we started collecting awards for our craftsmanship and innovation, and as more and more people started knowing our name, we weren't following in the shadows anymore.
We are running with our competitors and are playing in the big league now.
