We believe that the creation of timeless and long-living furniture is achieved only with utmost care in manufacturing and the use of highest quality materials. For this, we connect traditional craftsmanship with modern, industrial manufacturing technologies. With our products we want to contribute to the aesthetic and intelligent solution of architectural challenges. We are a young family-run business, founded by brothers David, Leon and Julian Löhr in December 2011 in Hamburg, Germany. Jointly, we act as managing directors of the company. David and Julian are accountable for the product design and development of our furniture, Leon is responsible for sales, communication and planning. Our design approach is constructivistic and material-oriented. A clear form language, expressive color compositions and the interplay of different surfaces constitutes the creative identity of our products. We pursue a philosophy of sustainability, which relies on the use of natural materials like wood, metal, textiles and leather. Synthethic materials and substances are used only in the minimal extent necessary. This philosophy is consistent throughout the manufacturing process to the packaging. Our products are exclusively Made in Germany. In partnerships with crafts enterprises, Loehr products are manufactured at the highest quality standards, under fair and secure working conditions and with environmental awareness. Distribution of our products takes place directly via the Gebrüder Löhr GmbH. We supply mainly architects, interior designers and contract clients. Studio Loehr Besides the development and distribution of our products, we offer our expertise in furniture design as a service. We design and develop custom furniture, and provide commissioned spatial solutions. Our experience and existing partnerships with production facilities allow also to be involved not only in the design phase, but to offer also to carry out manufacturing.
