Oblique Filing Systems

The Oblique product arrived in the United States in 1960 and has been distributed by our company ever since, initially as the R.P. Gillotte Company. In 1981, the Gillotte company became a division of National Service Industries, a Fortune 250 company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Distribution was further expanded over the next decade. During the last 7 years, many products have been introduced designed specifically for the U.S. market. In 1990, the Gillotte company changed its name to Oblique Filing Systems. In 1998 we moved to our present home in Irmo, SC. Oblique Filing Systems has been solving filing and document management problems in the United States since 1960. As the first hanging filing system to become available in the U.S., Oblique has continued to develop new products and accessories for the changing document management market.
