“PAPER SCULPTOR”
JUNIOR FRITZ JACQUET
Junior Fritz Jacquet folds, creases, and molds sheets of paper and cardboard, creating remarkable and stunning pieces of art – all without the help of cutting or pasting.
Evocative masks, compositions that recall the natural world, figures that take the shape of the artist’s imagination, luminous and ethereal sculptures...
A sculptor originating from Haiti, Junior takes origami to a whole new level, journeying into previously unexplored territory and thus giving rise to a very unique style. His work is present in some of the of most prestigious sanctuaries of paper folding in the world: the Origami Gallery (Tokyo) and the Mingei International Museum (San Diego).
"DECORATIVE ART FOR THE IMAGINATION"
Oznoon©, a expressive collection of luminous sculptures, was created by the artist Junior Fritz Jacquet. Lightness, finesse, mystery - these sculptures elicit an infinite number of emotions that speak to our imagination and inspire our daily life.
Oznoon is also a rare metamorphosis of paper - each model playing with different shapes, folds, creases, shadows and light. Created from wax paper, Oznoon© creations are eco-design, and reminiscent of natural forms.
