“PAPER SCULPTOR” JUNIOR FRITZ JACQUET Junior Fritz Jacquet folds, creases, and molds sheets of paper and cardboard, creating remarkable and stunning pieces of art – all without the help of cutting or pasting. Evocative masks, compositions that recall the natural world, figures that take the shape of the artist’s imagination, luminous and ethereal sculptures... A sculptor originating from Haiti, Junior takes origami to a whole new level, journeying into previously unexplored territory and thus giving rise to a very unique style. His work is present in some of the of most prestigious sanctuaries of paper folding in the world: the Origami Gallery (Tokyo) and the Mingei International Museum (San Diego).
