SOBINCO

Sobinco – Société Belge de l’industrie et de la commerce – was founded in 1961 as a small hardware trading company by Remi Van Parys and his wife Paule. The products at that time were for steel windows and doors, as aluminum versions did not yet exist. But to be better able to meet the demand, the founder soon decided to take responsibility for production himself. Over the past 50 years, what began on a small scale in the owners’ back garden has grown into a leading company with more than 30,000 square meters of production space. In the meantime, the 4 Van Parys sons have taken over the reins, and the Sobinco group has an office in Portugal and points of sale in Poland and China. There are currently about 350 employees working in Belgium and more than 90% of Sobinco’s products are manufactured by the company itself. All production processes, from raw materials to finished products, are carried out within the company. Then, from the company headquarters, the products are exported to more than 60 countries on 5 continents.
