At Thos. Moser we are guided by our mission to build furniture that celebrates the natural beauty of wood; is of simple, unadorned, graceful lines; and is crafted for a long, useful life. As designers and makers of American hardwood fine furniture, we are largely self-taught. If we have teachers, they are the woodworkers of the last century who left a legacy of beautiful forms executed by hand and built to last for generations. Hidden inside our furniture is the stuff of permanence we learned of by taking apart old antiques. Our designs and joinery accommodate for the expansion and contraction of solid wood as the humidity changes.
