Timber Trends

Always begin with the end in mind.  We are a timber loving, technology loving, design loving but most of all customer loving timber construction company. We are based on the Kwa Zulu Natal North Coast and since 2003 we have been setting the trend in all things timber. Owner, Peter Rottcher, has been involved with the industry (and in particular carpentry) for 20 years. TimberTrends had humble beginnings and was born in a friend's garage in Ballito. So, with a BMX in tow and armed with a big vision for the future, TimberTrends began. That first vision for outstanding quality and attention to detail has driven TimberTrends to deliver value in the customer experience and product. We strive for longevity, not only every install but with our all relationships. With these ideals in mind TimberTrends has grown into a company that boasts always being at the cutting edge of timber design. We have had the privilege of being involved in a huge variety of projects over the years; from timber walkways on the Durban Beachfront (upgrade in 2010) to building jetties and boathouses in the Bahamas. More recently we have been working on projects in the Seychelles. We have built and continue to grow relationships both locally, nationally and internationally. We have a wide range of work on our portfolio; ranging from timber decks, timber screens , staircases , specialised cladding, an so much more. We have recently launched a maintenance service by popular demand and give this as an added optional service to our clients.
