Putting an art form into practice
When you know for a fact that decent shelter is one of those few necessities instantly improving the quality of life, what is the least you need to create a house that stands out as the basic shape it really is? Walls, windows, doors and a roof, that is about it. With these four elements you are pretty much covered, it is really not that complicated.
So why not simply stick to this rather than disturbing an essentially good design with inessentials? Who needs visible doorframes for example? Under-Cover Doorframes enables you to simply delete them from the design without compromising on quality and materials, understanding that hi-end design should not only translate into form, but also into function. For us, that is the true art of less. We believe we have come a long way since William Blake first mentioned those doors of perception we started off with. Now imagine the things you could do.
