VALCOR

VALCOR

Three friends met over dinner one night, and in the course of their conversation, one proposed an idea he had for a new type of solenoid valve that he thought could sell to the vending machine industry. After much discussion, the three friends decided to pool their resources, and thus created Valcor Engineering in 1951. Morton Kreitchman had the idea; Murray Maslow had some space in a loft he rented for his own business producing toys and games. Ben Welt provided engineering support to help get the business off the ground.
