Lukasz Kos co-founded FOUR O NINE with Andrei Zerebecky in Shanghai in 2011. In 2015 Kos, opened a studio in Warsaw for their expanding portfolio in Europe. Which include, Hotel and Residential projects in Spain, and Holland, as well as a number of projects in Warsaw, including a restaurant for a Michelin Star chef, scheduled to open in September 2017.
Their work, has been recognized internationally by renowned design publishers Taschen (Cologne), Thames & Hudson, Laurence King (London), Gestalten (Berlin), Braun (Switzerland), as well as Architectural Record (New York), among many others. The duo was recently recognized by AD China as one of the AD100; Top 100 Design Firms in Asia for 2015. The work of Kos and Zerebecky has been exhibited in Canada, Germany and China. Both are graduates, from the University of Toronto’s faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, and studied in Los Angeles, Rome, Krakow and Amsterdam. After earning their Master of Architecture degrees they worked in international architecture and design offices, including Frank Gehry and Bruce Mau.
