MATOS-CASTILLO arquitectos

Matos-Castillo arquitectos was founded in1985 by Alberto Martinez Castillo and Beatriz Matos. They are professors, Beatriz teaches Project in the European University of Madrid (EMU) and was professor at the ETSAM (1989-2003); Alberto teaches Project at the ETSAM (1987-2006). They have also been invited teachers from various schools Architecture: San Pablo CEU University, University of the Basque Country UPV, University of Navarra, Polytechnic University of Valencia (ETSAV), Ricardo Palma University, Lima, Peru, University of Alcala de Henares, Institute for Architecture und Raumplanung, Liechtenstein, and so on. Their work has been published in various national and international journals of architecture, and have participated in various exhibitions both individual and collective, including the Venice Architecture Biennial in 2000 and 2002. The architectural competitions are a very important part of their practice and have received numerous honours for their work.
