Halio® Smart-Tinting Glass

Halio a patented, multi-layered conductive electrochromic device that gets laminated to hermetically-sealed carrier glass, and is used to create a smart-tinting electrochromic insulated glass unit (EC IGU). When the device and the resulting EC IGU, receives an electrical charge, it will clear or tint to manage the amount and intensity of visible light that passes through the glass. The Halio system’s main components are glass, chemical solutions, electronic components, and software controls. Software controls are cloud-based for performance, reliability, security and future-proofing.
