YKK AP's YES 60 TU is a 6" thermally broken, offset, flush glazed storefront system for insulating glass. This system uses a pour and debridged pocket that employs a patented process, ThermaBond Plus®, to greatly improve adhesion of the polyurethane to the extruded aluminum. Combining science with technology, ThermaBond Plus® resolves the problem of adhesion and the resultant dry shrinkage associated with typcial poured and debridged systems. The system can deliver the thermal performance necessary for climate zones 1-3, and climate zones 4-6 when complying with ASHRAE 90.1 versions of the energy code thru 2013 using 1" low E IGU's. The YES 60 TU was also built to achieve taller spans while keeping great energy performance.
This storefront system features a diamond-shaped Screw Spline assembly. It also integrates with YKK AP's 20D, 35D and 50D Single & Pair Doors, as well as with YKK AP's YES 45 Series storefronts. It is also compatible with ThermaShade® and Luminance® Sun Control systems.
