Volver, Zaragoza: a smooth design for a slow life

Fifty years after the construction of the building, this apartment has been completely refurbished to adapt to the needs and hopes of the new owners, in a new stage of their lives. Near the moment of retirement, this project represents the illusion of the new owner returning to the city where he was born. Coming back to Zaragoza to create a new home for the family. A meeting place, but also one of tranquility and rest.

The enclosures and dividers with soft curves accompany the leisurely path of the house and the light softly accompany the passage. This house is the place and the opportunity to return to the origins for the grandfather, as well as the meeting place for children and grandchildren, and the opportunity for the latter to discover it for the first time.
