Alteryx is a fast growing, American company with a passion for unusual ideas. At each location, the philosophy of the brand, the dynamic color world, but also local characteristics should be noticeable. The new "Munyx" office in downtown Munich integrates elements from Munich and Bavaria into the design of the new space. The offices are arranged around an inner courtyard as a quiet place and offer space for future growth of the company. Zones in bright corporate colors and theme areas such as Bavaryx and the English Garden create an identification with the brand and location for the employees.
Already from the staircase the blue designed reception area shines through the new open welcome situation. The curved shape of the counter refers to the iconic Eisbach wave. The colorful wall rug reminds of corals gently swaying on a reef. The new floor plan design directs the eye to the traditionally "Lüftlmalerei", a characteristic Bavarian style of painting. The special design by artist Bernhard Rieger shows leading personalities of the company and brings a touch of Bavarian tradition to the premises with a wink. The common area serves as a social center, meeting room and playground at the same time. According to its function, typical elements of a Bavarian restaurant are quoted and complemented with a modern design language and the corporate color scheme.
The open office area is framed by large black and white photographs of Eisbach surfers and the English Garden. In the open office, swings create an agile work structure in addition to private retreat areas and meeting rooms. This creates a variety of possibilities for concentrated and collaborative work.
The central zone is highlighted by the wallrug, which at the same time has a positive effect on the high acoustic requirements in the openly designed rooms. The central eye-catcher is the BMWClassic, a Steib with sidecar in Alteryx corporate blue. To celebrate a big deal, music sounds and the disco ball starts moving, when one presses the buzzer on the motorcicle. Bright corporate colors in combination with expressive structures translate the Alteryx brand into the room and create an identification with the Munich location as well as with the company for the employees.
