Located in Bayada, Lebanon, Buffo Pizzeria redefines the possibilities of a compact space with a bold and vibrant design. The project presented unique challenges, as the site was not originally intended for dine-in purposes. Weld Architecture transformed this small-scale venue into an inviting and functional dining experience, skillfully merging creativity and practicality.
The playful facade, with its eye-catching green tones and whimsical design elements, immediately sets the tone for the unique character of Buffo. Inside, the warm ambiance is highlighted by soft lighting, custom furniture, and a centrally placed pizza oven, which serves as both a functional and visual anchor. Every detail, from the bar counter to the overhead shelving, has been meticulously designed to maximize the use of space without compromising comfort or aesthetics.
Buffo Pizzeria is not just a dining space; it’s an example of how innovative design can elevate even the most compact and challenging sites into memorable, multifunctional environments.
