The development of Nuevo Leon House 120, from the beginning turned into a fully integrated project from conceptualization to realization of it. The architecture style 'art deco' dictated the treatment that was given to building up this concept-which now, respecting the character and adapting the spaces to adapt to the requirements of the initial idea.
Hotel Casa Nuevo Leon and comprises the transformation of an apartment building into a hotel with 16 rooms, two restaurants and a terrace with pool.
In the work process graphics applications, the business concept as well as the furniture and interior design were developed.
The interior is a major part of the overall program, which designed a geometric pattern in hydraulic floors paste specially designed to differentiate each of the 4 types of rooms offered by the hotel and public areas. In the same way and always inspired chromatic tropical environments and the materials we work to conceive the result arise. The palette of materials was chosen also comprises brass.
For its part, the furniture is part of our first "Union", which is made entirely in solid wood poplar, collection which was selected for its appearance and resistance, where it is noteworthy that all the furniture was produced in the workshops Metropolitan in Mexico City.
Currently House Nuevo Leon 120 operates as a hotel P2P, which seeks to break with the paradigms of stagnant hospitality industry.
The furniture, which brings much Carlota unique personality, is our contribution to this original space and consists of 10 pieces of wood and variations which reflect in each the theme of this series: the sophistication of the silhouette .
The recovery of ancient manufacturing techniques and cutting processes are computer controlled almost handcrafted finishes that reveal the basis of Carlota in general: "A search to recover the essence of the past and bring it to this to preserve it in the future."
The old Hotel Jardin Amazonas, thus becomes an honest, urban and expressive, the new Hotel Charlotte.
