This assignment starts from a very clear premise; to create a model of a Mediterranean style shoe store with a neutral, simple and cozy interior design. This objective is achieved by choosing a very common and traditional material in our architectural culture: the Catalan ceramic rasilla. We opted for this unique material that solves the whole proposal adapting like a sheet in vertical and horizontal to all the requirements of a commercial space of these characteristics in terms of its distribution and thus the spaces of showcase, shelves, customer service bar, seats and bleachers for the smaller ones are solved.

The orientation of the 14x28cm piece and its change of modeling also allows segregating the more private spaces from the public ones and creating different finishes and deliveries according to the requirements of the furniture. Some special pieces such as the tile lights have also been designed from this piece. It is a constructive, open and adaptable system on which we will continue to investigate and that can be enriched with other configurations and solutions that we are already preparing for other stores of the same brand.
