Na Praia

Based on the predefinition of materials to be used in structures, as well as in enclosing and shading elements, namely steel and natural bamboo, taking into account their ease of local supply and reduced cost, the projects were conceived to unite them in a modular configuration for easy and rapid execution.

The building housing the store and cafés features a metallic structure. In the floor plan, 7 spans of 5 meters in the longitudinal direction and 2 spans of 6.5 meters in the transversal direction create a 5x6.5-meter module, guiding the organization of spaces. The structure, painted in white, contrasts with the natural bamboo, which is present in the ceiling, the store's access doors, and the sun shading elements.

The buildings of the Gastronomic Village, accommodating food-related operations,
follow the same material pattern as the store and cafés. However, the structural spans in this case are different, resulting in modules of 4x8 meters. The design of the beams that span the 8-meter gaps is also different, as it required the use of flat triangular trusses for these spans.

The Beer Bar stands out for its sole use of bamboo as the structural element. The
entire structure is generated from the composition of triangles, which serve as both
beams and pillars, forming a cohesive and extremely lightweight structural ensemble that connects to the ground without touching it, through rods anchored in small concrete bases.

The rationality applied in the choice of structures and construction processes aimed to associate the "beach ambiance"; intended for the village by the creators of the festival, through the use of natural bamboo. In the end, the Store and Cafés, Gastronomic Village, and Beer Bar, located around a square that welcomes visitors, are connected through materials and scale, a human dimension that marks the character of the architecture and urbanism of this modern city.
