noru studio

An old logistic company warehouse was beautifully converted into a creative studio called “noru studio”. “noru” means “to ride” in Japanese and as the name of the studio implies, the space allows photo and video shoots with cars taken into the space.

An entrance has a very wide opening in order for cars to get in and out, though it can be completely closed when necessary. The folding doors for the entrance made of oxide film coated steels were manufactured by REYT, a company based in Yokohama, Japan, that is specialised in metal work.

Mortar was selected as a main material for the interior, whilst only one surface of a wall was painted white so that it would be useful for photoshoots. A large amount of electrical and other special equipment were all allocated in the space with a help of a client who is a professional photographer.
