Pabellon La Carreta

The new pavilion is located at the heart of Tec de Monterrey, being part of the Campus Monterrey 2014 Master Plan, also known as the Tec District, developed by the international firm Sasaki Associates in collaboration with Mexican urbanists, architects and engineers to redefine the spaces within the campus and its relationship with the urban environment.

The new building does not change in its concept, but it enhances its vocation as place to meet with more flexible spaces. Under an analysis that considered new capacity requirements, diversity of activities and nowadays needs, the new pavilion becomes a space to detonate collaboration, exchange of ideas and innovation that maximizes the qualities of one of the most emblematic cafeterias of the Campus.

Today’s needs materialize a pavilion with a transparent structure that makes visible the connections, experiences and teamwork that will be carried out inside this area.
